- Complete a Registration Form. Teams must be registered by the head coach.
- All anglers must be in High School which includes 9-12th grades
- MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ Logo on Competition Jersey: All Team Anglers must wear/display the MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ logo on his/her team’s competition jersey at all times during tournament competition to earn points under this Program. Upon completing the online registration, a digital file and/or link will be sent to the Team Representative with the required MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ Logo.
- All registered teams must adhere to all notices posted to this website throughout the year.

Each eligible Team participating in the Program will have the opportunity to earn points during the Term of the Program based upon the following point system:
B.A.S.S. High School Tournaments
- *Team Participation in any Tournament 25 Points
- Top 20th Place finish in any Tournament 50 Points
- Top 10th Place finish in any Tournament 75 Points
- 1st Place finish in any Tournament 100 points
B.A.S.S. Nation Event Tournaments
- *Team Participation in any Tournament 5 Points
- Top 20th Place finish in any Tournament 12 Points
- Top 10th Place finish in any Tournament 18 Points
- 1st Place finish in any Tournament 22 points
Extra Points for Social Media Participation (optional):
During the Term of the Program, each Team may receive additional points (optional by each Team) by promoting the MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ brand/patterns on Facebook and/or Instagram, as follows:
- 1 point per Team for each Instagram or Facebook post of a photo prominently promoting/displaying the MOSSY OAK® Fishing™ brand/patterns on products; maximum of 15 points allowed per month for each Team Organization (max. of 150 points during the Term of the Program).
*Maximum points allowed per each Team Organization at any tournament. For example, if a Team Organization is represented by 3 teams at B.A.S.S. Nation Event Tournament, the maximum team participation points earned by that Team Organization is 5 points.
MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ HIGH SCHOOL CONTINGENCY PROGRAM PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
This PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”) dated November 4, 2019 (“Effective Date”) is entered into between Haas Outdoors, Inc. (and its affiliates), 26420 East Main St., West Point, MS 39773 (“Haas” or “Sponsor”), and Team Representative signing on behalf of Team/Team Organization (individual anglers referred to herein as “Participant” or “Angler”; each organization team is referred to herein as “Team”) as set forth herein this Agreement.
1. Term:
The Mossy Oak High School Contingency Program (hereinafter referred to as the “Program”) begins on November 4, 2019 and ends at the conclusion of the 2020 B.A.S.S. High School Fishing National Championship in or July 31, 2021, whichever is earlier (“Term”). Sponsor, in its sole discretion and without cause, may immediately terminate this Agreement and the Program at any time by providing written notice of such termination on the Program’s Website.
2. Sponsor:
The sole sponsor of the Program is Haas Outdoors, Inc. dba Mossy Oak, 26420 East Main Street, West Point, MS 39773.
3. Eligibility:
Participation in the Program is subject to each Team’s Representative (e.g. High School coach/captain, organization representative, etc.; collectively referred to herein as “Team Representative”) completing Registration as set forth herein this Agreement. During the Term of this Agreement, any eligible high school team (max of 2 anglers per team; no limit on number of teams per Team Organization) participating in the MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ BASSMASTER® High School Tournament Series and/or B.A.S.S. Nation tournaments (collectively referred to herein as the “B.A.S.S. Tournament Series”) may participate in this Program on behalf of that team’s high school, affiliated institution, and/or official city, county or community club (“Team Organization”) on file with B.A.S.S. Participation in this program is voluntary and within each Team’s sole discretion on whether to participate in this Program.
By participating in this Program, each Team Organization (including Team Representative/Team) agrees to be bound by this Agreement, federal/state laws and regulations, and any rules/regulations promulgated by B.A.S.S., LLC relating to participation in the B.A.S.S. Tournament Series (e.g. Official Rules, Participation Agreement, Code of Conduct, specific tournament rules/ content guidelines, coaching rules, etc., collectively referred to herein as the “B.A.S.S. Rules”), which any/all B.A.S.S. Rules are fully incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Prize(s) may only be awarded to and accepted by a Team Representative of that Team’s Organization in accordance with this Agreement. In no circumstances may an individual Angler accept any prize(s) set forth in this Program. Void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Winning a prize is contingent upon Team’s fulfillment of all requirements set forth herein this Agreement. By signing this Agreement and participating in the Program, Team’s Representative (on behalf of Team Organization/Anglers) acknowledges and understands that this is legal binding agreement enforceable as a matter of law.
4. This Agreement Governs:
By signing this Agreement and participating in the Program, each Team agrees that this Agreement exclusively governs the Program and warrants that its Team’s participation in this Program complies with all requirements set forth herein this Agreement.
5. Participation Requirements:
During the Term, a Team can register to participate in the Program, as follows:
A. Complete a Registration Form: Each Team Representative must complete the online registration form(s) available at www.fishmossyoak.com (“Program Website”); and
B. Review/Sign this Agreement available on the Program Website. Each Team’s Representative is required to accept and sign this Agreement (available exclusively on the Program Website) on behalf of the Team’s Organization and Team before participating in the Program. INDIVIDUAL ANGLER(S) ARE PROHIBITED FROM SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT. THIS AGREEMENT MUST BE SIGNED BY A TEAM REPRESENTATIVE. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may require additional documentation/proof of such authenticity of the Team’s Representative signing on behalf of its Team. Upon signing this Agreement (“Team’s Registration Date”), such applicable Team is eligible to participate in the Program, and may accumulate points in the Program between the Team’s Registration Date and the expiration date (this period referred to as the “Team Participation Period” and may vary depending on each Team’s Registration Date) subject to all other terms and conditions of this Agreement; and
C. MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ Logo on Competition Jersey: Both Team Anglers on each Team must wear/display the MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ logo on his/her team’s competition jersey at all times during tournament competition to earn points under this Program. Upon completing the online registration, a digital file and/or link will be sent to the Team Representative with the requisite MOSSY OAK® FISHING™ Logo.
* Registration is only available online at the Program Website. All registered Teams are subject to all notices posted online at Program’s Website via www.fishmossyoak.com in addition to Sponsor’s privacy policy available at www.mossyoak.com. Incomplete/invalid online registration is void.
Proof of eligibility may be required at any time during the Term of the Program, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any Team from participating in this Program as deemed by Sponsor to be objectionable, ineligible, and/or in violation of any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
6. License:
By participating in the Program, each Team (including each Team Organization/Team Representative) grants Sponsor an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide non-exclusive license to reproduce, distribute, display and create derivative works of such Team in connection with the Program and promotion of the Program, in any of Sponsor’s media platforms now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: Display of registration (including photographs submitted) at a potential exhibition of the winner(s); participation during the Program (e.g. linear/digital video, website(s), social media accounts, Mossy Oak® GO™ app (“MOGO”), photographs, print material, publications etc.); publication in any Mossy Oak® (or Mossy Oak® subsidiary) magazine or online highlighting participation or winner(s) of the Program. Each Team consents to the Sponsor doing or omitting to do any act that would otherwise infringe the entrant’s “moral rights” in their entries (including photographs submitted). Sponsor will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use. Additionally, by participating in the Program, Team grants Sponsor the unrestricted right to use all statements made in connection with the Program, and pictures or likenesses of Program entrants, or choose not to do so, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
7. Program Point System:
Each eligible Team participating in the Program will have the opportunity to earn points during the Term of the Program based upon the following point system:
B.A.S.S. High School Tournaments
- *Team Participation in any Tournament 25 Points
- Top 20th Place finish in any Tournament 50 Points
- Top 10th Place finish in any Tournament 75 Points
- 1st Place finish in any Tournament 100 points
B.A.S.S. Nation Event Tournaments
- *Team Participation in any Tournament 5 Points
- Top 20th Place finish in any Tournament 12 Points
- Top 10th Place finish in any Tournament 18 Points
- 1st Place finish in any Tournament 22 points

8. Program Prizes:
The following prizes (“Prizes”) will be awarded to each applicable Team Organization winner (“Winner”) at the end of the Program based upon the total number of points earned by each eligible Team Organization, as follows:
- 1st Place $10,000.00
- 2nd Place $5,000.00
- 3rd Place $2,500.00
- 4th -10th Place $500.00
- 11th-25th Place $100.00
9. Winner Selection and Notification:
There will be twenty-five (25) Winners awarded in this Program. The Winners will be selected and awarded from 1st place to 25th place based upon the total number of points earned by each eligible Team during each Team’s Participation Period. The Winners will be selected and awarded their applicable prize at the conclusion of the 2021 B.A.S.S. High School National Championship, subject to Sponsors’ sole discretion. No Team Organization may win more than one (1) Prize. All prizes must be accepted only by such Team’s Organization/Representative. No individual Angler may accept/collect any above Prize at any time during this Program. The Sponsors’ decision as to the Winner(s) will be final and binding.
To the extent applicable, Winner will be notified through its registered e-mail/contact information, Program Website, and/or any other method in Sponsor’s sole discretion, and each Winner must respond to Sponsor within ten (10) days from date of such notification. The manner of notification is at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Each Winner must follow the instructions given by Sponsor and comply with all terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement to collect any prize.
At Sponsor’s sole discretion, Winner(s) may be required to complete and return an Affidavit, Declaration or Certificate of Eligibility, along with any other documentation reasonably required by Sponsor(s) for prize fulfillment (collectively the “Fulfillment Documentation”) within ten (10) days of receipt of such Fulfillment Documentation, or an alternate winner may be selected according to the selection procedure set forth in this Agreement, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Failure to execute and deliver any required documents to Sponsor by the specified deadline may result in disqualification from the Program and forfeiture of any prize(s), and selection of an alternate potential winner. If the prize notification or any Fulfillment Documentation is returned as undeliverable, such winner will be disqualified and the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner according to the selection procedure set forth in this Agreement. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of alternate winner.
No prize transfer, assignment, or substitution by any winner is permitted. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the original prize (or that part of the prize) with an alternative prize with equal monetary value and/or specification, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use Winner’s name, prize won, hometown, Organization, likeness, photograph, voice, address (city and state), film footage and/or videotape and biographical information for purposes of advertising, online posting, promotion, TV, video/DVD, internet and publicity without additional compensation.
WINNER’S NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THIS AGREEMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND SELECTION OF AN ALTERNATIVE POTENTIAL WINNER, IN SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION.
10. Indemnity/Limitation of Liability:
A. By signing this Agreement and participating in the Program, each Team’s Organization (including Team Representative, affiliates, and Angler(s)) agree to defend indemnify, release, discharge and hold B.A.S.S. and Sponsor and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, suppliers, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company’s officers, directors, managers, employees and agents harmless from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions or liability of any kind resulting from, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) Team’s breach of any representation, warranty, or other provision of this Agreement; (ii) Team’s participation in the Program; and/or (iii) any other act, omission or negligence of Team (including Team Organization/Representative).
B. By receipt of any prize, each winning Team (including its affiliated organization and representative(s)) agrees to defend, indemnify, release and hold B.A.S.S. and Sponsor and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, suppliers, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company’s officers, directors, managers, employees and agents harmless from and against any legal claim or cause of action, including but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Program or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.
C. Except as expressly set forth in this Agreement, in no case shall Sponsor or B.A.S.S. be liable to any Team under the terms of this Agreement or otherwise for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or multiple damages arising out of this Agreement, regardless of the legal theory on which such claim is based, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
11. Miscellaneous:
A. By signing this Agreement and participating in the Program, each Team agrees (a) to be bound by this Agreement; (b) that the decision of Sponsor is final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the Program; and (c) if Team Organization wins any prize in this Program, that Sponsor may use the winning Team’s name, photograph, likeness, and/or voice in any publicity or advertising relating to the Program or any future promotions without compensation or approval (except where prohibited by law) by Sponsor in any manner and purpose whatsoever. In the event that any selected winner is deemed ineligible by Sponsor, cannot be traced or does not respond within ten (10) days to a winner notification as required herein (unless Sponsor consents otherwise in writing), or refuses the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Sponsor, in their sole discretion, may choose whether to award the prize to an alternative potential winner in accordance with this Agreement.
B. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the validity of any Team’s registration (including an entrant’s identity, affiliation, eligibility, and address) and participation during the Program, and to disqualify any Team (or Team Organization) who is deemed ineligible to participate in the Program. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any time during the Term of the Program, or after the expiration date of the Term, does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
C. Each Team acknowledges that the name and mark Mossy Oak® and the trademark, tradenames, service marks, copyrights or slogans associated with Haas Outdoors, Inc. (the “Marks”) are the exclusive property of Haas Outdoors, Inc. and that Team shall have no right to use such Marks or similar names or marks except as specifically approved by Haas Outdoors, Inc. in writing.
D. If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall be deleted from this Agreement, but the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired thereby.
E. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi. The parties hereby irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of the State of Mississippi and/or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Aberdeen Division. Any litigation arising out of this Agreement shall be brought solely within the state courts of the State of Mississippi situated in Clay County, Mississippi or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, Aberdeen Division.
F. By participating in this Program, such Team (including Team’s Organization/Representative) irrevocably waives any and all right to trial by jury in any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement.
G. Team represents and warrants that: (i) it has the full right and authority to enter into this Agreement; (ii) the entry into and performance of this Agreement by Team will not conflict with or result in a breach of any contract or other obligation of Team; (iii) this Agreement has been duly executed and delivered on each Team Organization’s behalf and is a valid and binding agreement enforceable against such Team Organization in accordance with its terms; (iv) it will maintain valid liability insurance coverage (e.g. personal injury/death, property damage, etc.) during the Term of this Agreement and thirty six (36) months thereafter to satisfy its indemnity obligations in this Agreement; and (v) in the performance of this Agreement and participation in the Program, Team will comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
H. To the extent applicable, each Team’s Organization will be responsible for the reporting and payment of all federal, state and local taxes and other applicable fees, service charges, surcharges associated with prize receipt and use. The valuation of each prize stated above is based on available information provided to the Sponsor, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner must be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Team’s Organization must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded (if applicable). Any Team Organization winning more than $600 in prizes in the Program will receive an IRS form 1099 (or any other applicable form) at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form must be filed with the IRS.
